Privacy Policy
This notice explains how Peel handles the information needed to create, approve and fulfil your custom wall sticker.
What data we collect
We may collect your name, email address, delivery address, payment status, order details, prompt text, edit instructions, reference images you choose to upload, generated and approved artwork, product choices and support messages to provide the service. Separately, we measure limited first-party usage information solely to produce statistics that help us improve Peel: approved page paths, coarse acquisition categories and device types, named button/link use, scroll milestones, measured active time, page-load time and generation/Checkout outcomes. Measurements are immediately combined into daily statistical counters, not stored as individual visit histories.
How we use information
We use information to create previews, support edits, check and fulfil orders, process payments, provide support, manage accounts where used, prevent misuse and improve Peel. We may also send offers and inspiration where permitted and where you have chosen to receive them.
Lawful bases and marketing
We use information where needed to perform a contract, pursue our legitimate interests in running and protecting Peel, meet legal obligations or because you have given consent. Offers and inspiration by email are optional. We record your choice, the wording/version, when and how you chose, and later withdrawals. Unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email, change your account preference, or contact privacy@peelstudio.uk. These preference records are kept to manage your choice and demonstrate permission, subject to our retention reviews. Requested design links and necessary order messages are separate; saving a design does not sign you up for reminders.
Service providers
To create and check designs, process payments and fulfil orders, we may share relevant information with AI, payment, print, delivery, hosting and support providers. Payments are processed by Stripe and Peel does not store full card details. Some providers may process data outside the UK, using appropriate safeguards where required.
Review invitations after dispatch
After a genuine order is dispatched, Peel may share your name, email address, order reference and the information contained in the dispatch email with Trustpilot so that Trustpilot can send one neutral review invitation on Peel's behalf. Trustpilot processes this invitation data as Peel's service provider. Peel uses the feedback to understand and improve the customer experience. You can object to future review invitations by contacting privacy@peelstudio.uk.
Cookies, retention and sharing
We use essential cookies and session storage to keep the site working, remember your design flow and protect checkout. For first-party statistical measurement, session storage remembers only coarse first-touch acquisition categories and device category, with no visitor identifier. A separate local storage setting remembers your first-party analytics opt-out. You can object free of charge on /cookies without affecting creation or Checkout. New analytics measurements are aggregated immediately, without retaining raw events, visitor or order identifiers, or exact event timestamps. Daily statistical totals are retained for up to two years through the retention job. Older raw funnel analytics are converted to coarse totals and removed when this policy is introduced. Existing acquisition information on older orders continues to be cleared 12 months after order creation; new orders are not tagged with browsing attribution. Prompts, images, names, emails, addresses, payment details, IP addresses and raw browser identifiers are excluded from first-party statistics. Our first-party statistics do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies and are not used to profile individuals. Optional Google Ads measurement is separate and is described below. Service, security and accounting records are separate and retained as needed for their purposes. We do not sell personal information.
Optional Google Ads conversion measurement
Only if you allow advertising measurement, Peel loads Google's conversion tag to understand which ads lead to a purchase, a completed sticker design or a checkout start. Google may store advertising-measurement cookies and receive ad-click identifiers, browser information and your IP address. For a verified paid purchase we send the amount paid in GBP and a unique order transaction ID to avoid counting the purchase twice. Completed-design and checkout-start events contain no purchase value or customer/order details. We do not send Google your name, email address, postal address, prompt, artwork or payment-card details. We do not use Google Analytics, personalised advertising, remarketing, customer matching or enhanced conversions for this measurement. Measurement stays off until you allow it, and refusing does not affect creation or ordering. Change your choice at any time on /cookies. Withdrawal stops future measurement and removes accessible advertising-measurement storage, but cannot undo information already sent. Your choice, its date and the wording version are remembered in this browser until changed or cleared; older default-on choices do not count as permission. Separate local storage remembers up to 100 reported purchase IDs to prevent duplicate measurement and is removed on withdrawal. Your rights and contact
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to use of your information, and to data portability where applicable. To make a privacy request, email privacy@peelstudio.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Peel develops. The latest version will be shown on this website.
